jwCompactor Demo

As you can see this is a demo of the jwCompactor module which allows you to place several modules into a single position. The modules are packed together using jQuery and Anicollapse. So instead of a chunky collapse animation, there is a smooth transitional animation to hide unused modules.

ImageNebula Facelift

It has been a while since Im4ges was retired to pasture and ImageNebula took off in it's place, but after a submission to Digg yesterday failed to take off I saw no need to do some upgrades immediately. BUT... in the wonderful world of viral media, someone picked up THIS on Digg and started posting it around on the Social Bookmarking and News websites.

Come mid afternoon the server was a buzz (no pun intended) with traffic and activity. (Actually I had no idea it was happening and was viral until my father called to say he saw my site - Which one? There are so many).

Immediately I thought, "Oh god, the site was coded as a test bed and was never optimised for heavy patronage', but when I arrived home and took a look at the CPU meter. Nothing. I mean, there was traffic, lots of it! But Linux was just yawning at this.

Even so, the design needed a rework and a few tweaks. So the new minimalist design is now uploaded (primarily because my name was on this, and it needed to happen).

So take a look at the updated ImageNebula when you get a chance. And share a few piccies if you feel the urge.
